H&D Quality Builders opened in 1990 with only two employees/owners and a part-time secretary. At that time we concentrated on general residential and agriculture repairs, remodels, and small scale builds.
Today, we are working with a wide variety and sizes of projects; including but not limited to: custom homes, duplex developments, equestrian facilities, churches, and commercial projects.
Here is a time line to show how we have grown into the full service construction company we are today.
• 1990 - Opened with two employees and a part-time secretary
• 1992 - Became a Borkholder® Buildings dealer. Began building post-frame buildings in agricultural and residential settings
• 1994 - First church addition project, which added an activity center, gym, kitchen, and classrooms to the existing church structure.
• 1996 - Started building commercial post-frame buildings
• 1997 - H&D began framing houses in conventional or stick frame form
• 2000 - General contracting with churches, commercial projects, residential developments, and custom built homes. Each of these projects using our uniquely developed “Design-Build” process utilizing conventional framing, post framing, or steel framing techniques.
• 2006 - Added our design center for customers to come in and see the options they have to choose from along with different design ideas they could incorporate into their own projects.
